Wayne State College, also known as WSC, is a public, four-year college located in Wayne, Nebraska, United States. It was established in 1910 as a State Normal School. WSC’s athletics department fields several men’s and women’s sports teams which participate in a wide variety of sports. The college is a member of the NAA and the NCAA Division II and competes in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Their sports teams are nicknamed the Wild Cats. The Wild Cats participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, football, and golf.
