Webber International University, also referred to as Webber, was founded by Grace Knight and Roger W. Babson on April 6, 1927. Originally a women's college, it became a coeducational institution in 1971. The campus is situated on 110 acres in Babson Park, Florida.
Webber International University awards associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in management, accounting, hospitality and tourism, sports management, pre-law, corporate communications, and computer information systems management. The university also provides adult education courses.
The athletics teams of Webber International University, nicknamed the Warriors, participate in baseball, basketball, cross country, bowling, golf, track and field, football, soccer, tennis, and softball. Webber's athletics department is a member of the Florida Sun Conference, and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
