West Liberty State College, established in 1837, is located in West Liberty, West Virginia. It was renamed West Liberty University on May 3, 2009. The main campus of the school is situated on more than 200 acres. West Liberty University offers degrees and programs through the following schools:

  • School of Sciences

The students of West Liberty University are represented by a Student Government Association. The university campus has sororities and fraternities such as Alpha Xi Delta, Lambda Psi Sigma, Kappa Delta Kappa, Delta Zeta Pi, and Beta Theta Gamma. The sports teams of West Liberty University, nicknamed The Hilltoppers, participate in golf, wrestling, tennis, cross country, basketball, softball, and baseball.
