The students of West Liberty University are represented by a Student Government Association. The university campus has sororities and fraternities such as Alpha Xi Delta, Lambda Psi Sigma, Kappa Delta Kappa, Delta Zeta Pi, and Beta Theta Gamma. The sports teams of West Liberty University, nicknamed The Hilltoppers, participate in golf, wrestling, tennis, cross country, basketball, softball, and baseball.
