West Virginia State Community And Technical College

West Virginia State Community and Technical College is a comprehensive community and technical college located in West Virginia. It was established in 1953. The college offers associate’s degrees, certificates and several industry certifications to its students. WVSCTC also offers continuing education, community service, employee training, developmental and transfer education programs.

WVSCTC’s athletics department sponsors several men’s and women’s sports teams. They are nicknamed the Yellow Jackets. The sports teams participate in the NCAA Division II as members of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The campus hosts several student organizations, including the National Academic Honor and Professional Society in Gerontology, Sigma Phi Omega and Delta Xi Chapter.
