Western Career College's admissions starts when prospective students visit the web site. From the web site, or by calling the phone number there, a student can fill out a form with their general information and what programs they are interested in. A copy of a high school diploma or equivalent degree will be necessary to successfully enroll though. Next, a friendly admissions representative will contact the applicant to answer questions about the rest of the admissions process and the school. They will also walk the applicant through the rest of the registration and application process, as well as schedule them for a tour of the campus. A tour of the campus is recommended for all new students as campus layouts differ from each other, and students should learn the layout of their buildings and classes before they start classes.

The housing assistance program helps students not native to the area find housing off campus, because there is no on-campus housing at any of the campuses. There are lots of exciting places to live in California, all only a little ways away from any of the campuses. All of the students share the desire to gain an education that will grow into a career they can have for the rest of their lives. Many students form relationships and contacts on campus that continue into the work place as many employers hire large groups of graduates.

Student's lives while attending classes at Western Career College are exciting, with California being host to many exciting attractions and fun things to do including miles of sandy beaches, amusement parks of all kinds, and many different bars and restaurants for every kind of palette. Students personal lives are able to be kept relatively the same, as many students find that because of the flexibility of the times and locations of classes they don't have to change their regular schedules around to accommodate school. This helps many students with time management as many students are also maintaining a full-time job or managing a family.
