Established in 1903 by Dwight B. Waldo, Western Michigan University, or WMU, is a public university in the United States. WMU’s main campus is spread across an area of more than 1,200 acres and comprises more than 140 buildings. The university offers over 250 degrees in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
