Western Oklahoma State College, also known as WOSC, was established in 1926. It is a community college, located in Altus, Oklahoma. The institution offers associate's degrees in arts, science, and applied science. Continuing educations are also offered online. Distance learning courses are also available.

WOSC's athletics department fields a number of men's and women's sports teams. They compete in National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The teams are nicknamed as the Pioneers and they participate in sports including basketball, baseball, softball, golf, and rodeo.

Western Oklahoma State College has an active student life. The campus is home to several clubs and organizations. These are Aggie Club, Nursing Club, Phi Theta Kappa, Western Choral Society, and Student Senate among others.
