About the study

This is a list of the highest female-to-male ratio schools for schools that admit men to undergraduate programs.

Schools in this list tend to be those that were originally colleges for women only or that have a large number of programs, such as allied health and nursing, that attract a disproportionate number of women. A notable number of colleges with high female-to-male ratios are affiliated with the Catholic faith.

This information was obtained from 2013-14 school year data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES, http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/)
