Cabot, Arkansas, in Lonoke county, is 20 miles NE of North Little Rock, Arkansas (center to center) and 112 miles W of Memphis, Tennessee. The city is in the Little Rock - North Little Rock metropolitan area.
Cabot History
The first settlement in Cabot was at a refueling station located on the Cairo and Fulton Railroad. The area was first settled in the year 1873 and was named in honor of a railroad surveyor. The city of Cabot was officially incorporated in the year 1891 and was ranked the 139th Arkansas city.
