Parlier History
I. N. Parlier and his family migrated to the present day Parlier in 1876. In fact, the city derived its name from the French ancestry of this family, DeParlier. The General Store, Post Office and Trading Post of the family became the center of town. The City of Parlier was incorporated in 1921.
