Suisun City History

Suisun City was founded in the 1850s. The location of Suisun City made it the center for commerce and transportation during the Gold Rush. The Transcontinental Railroad connected to Suisun City, and thus the expanding regions reached across the nation in 1869. The city experienced rapid growth in the 1960s and 1970s.
