The city of Cherry Hills Village is a municipality situated in the county of Arapahoe. It was officially incorporated, with the consent of its residents, in 1945. Cherry Hills Village covers an area of 6.2 square miles. It hosted the PGA Championships and the U.S. Women's Open Golf Championship in 2005. The famous Arnold Palmer iced tea drink is said to have been created the Cherry Hills Country Club. Worth magazine has ranked the city number 50th among the 250 richest towns in the United States.
