Woodstock History

The community of Woodstock was most likely formed during the early years of the 19th century. Records state that a postmaster was employed in Woodstock in 1833. The area was officially incorporated as a city in 1897. Railroads entered the city in 1879, leading to rapid development of the area.

Things To Do In Woodstock

The Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, which was a battleground during the Civil War, is also a popular tourist spot. The Woodstock Commons Shopping Center and the Woodstock Village Shopping Center are also nearby.
