Taylor Mill History
The city was named after the Taylor Mill, which was built in this area. It was first settled in the late eighteenth century. James Harrod established the first permanent white settlement in 1774. The road that led to the mill came to be known as the Taylor Mill road. Taylor Mill was incorporated in the year 1957.
