Tallulah History

The city of Tallulah is the parish seat of Madison Parish. It is the principal city of the Tallulah Metropolitan Area. The area was largely agricultural in nature and grew cotton, soybeans and corn. It also includes several rice and wheat fields. The city gradually prospered and developed to become a business and educational destination.
