Archdale, North Carolina, in Randolph County, is 3 miles SE of High Point, North Carolina and 69 miles NE of Charlotte, North Carolina .
The area was originally home to a large number of Quakers. It was then known as Bush Hill. The community was later renamed Archdale in honor of early Quaker governor, John Archdale. It was officially incorporated in July of 1969.
