Athens Technical College, also known as ATC, is a public, technical college located in Athens, Georgia, United States. It was established in 1958 as Athens Area Vocational-Technical School and was renamed as Athens Technical College in 2000. The college records an enrollment of more than 3,500 part-time and full-time students every year. ATC offers several certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees in diverse areas of study ranging from business to manufacturing-related fields. The college's main campus is located in Athens. It operates other campuses in Elberton, Greensboro, and Monroe.
ATC has an active student life. The campus is home to a wide variety of clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students. The student body includes an impressive number of international students.
