Located in Carson, California, the school serves the surrounding communities in the greater Los Angeles area. Program concentrations for potential career fields include medical assistant, dental assistant, veterinary assistant, personal fitness trainer, pharmacy technician, medical coding and billing, massage therapy and surgical technology.
California Healing Arts College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).
The faculty at California Healing Arts College seeks to provide students with the skills and knowledge that they need to enter their chosen fields at entry-level positions. Training is career-oriented so students focus on the skills they need to succeed in the job market. Curriculum is based on both science and art, promoting healing in many different forms that compliment traditional medicine. Classroom lectures are combined with hands-on training experiences where students can hone their skills in on-the-job situations.
California Healing Arts College is a commuter college and does not provide on-campus housing for students. The school has training facilities and clinics, including an active massage center, where students practice their skills on real clients. Classes are offered during the daytime and evening to accommodate students with family and work obligations. CHAC has a relationship with Burke Williams Luxury Day Spas and 24 Hour Fitness that helps graduates find employment. In addition, the school offers career services that provide students with networking advice, resume preparation, and job search tips. Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
