Davis & Elkins College

Davis & Elkins College (D&E) was founded in 1904 in Elkins, Virginia. The college is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church and named after Henry G. Davis and Stephen B. Elkins (both U.S senators from Virginia). The D&E campus is located in the Potomac Highlands of West Virginia, minutes away from the Monongahela National Forest. This liberal arts college has been listed by U.S. News & World Report magazine as one of the best baccalaureate colleges in the south.

The college offers more than 30 academic programs in criminology, nursing, hospitality management and tourism. Its athletic teams are called the Senators and they compete in the NCAA Division II West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Tobi Stoner (professional baseball player) and Judson Hudson (football player, NFL's Chicago Cardinals) are notable alumni of Davis & Elkins College.
