Overview

Empire College is an institute of higher learning which offers career training in the fields of business and law. Located in Santa Rosa, California, the school opened its doors in 1961 offering professional business training. Empire College's School of Law was founded in 1973 and has consistently ranked near the top of California's accredited law schools in terms of bar exam passage rates. Some business concentrations include accounting, information technology, management and medical studies programs. The law school awards graduates either a Juris Doctor or Master of Legal Studies degree. Empire's business school awards diplomas and associate degrees.

Empire College School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Empire School of Law is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California to offer a Juris Doctor program.

Faculty

Faculty members possess a high level of competence in their specialties and are effective communicators in the classroom. All of Empire's School of Law professors are practicing attorneys or judges in the North Bay. College of Business curriculum is career-focused and designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge that they need to quickly enter the job market.

Student Life

Empire College is a commuter school and does not offer on-campus housing arrangements. Training for business students is career-focused. Class times are flexible, with day and evening classes available. Study is year round, and new courses start every 6 weeks. Students can expect to complete their program in 8-21 months of study. Law school students can expect to participate in vigorous study. Empire College is located just one hour north of the San Francisco Bay Area in the heart of the wine-growing region of Sonoma County, allowing students to take advantage of all the region has to offer.
