Florence Darlington Technical College

Florence-Darlington Technical College, popularly referred to as FDTC, is a community college located in Florence, South Carolina. It is under the South Carolina Technical College System, and is known to the locals as 'Harvard by the Highway'. Apart from the main campus in Florence, the college also offers classes in the following satellite sites:

  • Cosmetology Center, Darlington
  • Hartsville Site
  • Lake City Site
  • Mullins Technology Site

Florence-Darlington Technical College offers associate's degrees, diplomas, and certificates in various areas of study. Students can enroll for courses in arts, science, automotive technology, accounting, civil engineering, computer science, cosmetology, international business, nursing, and health and human services, among others.

Florence-Darlington Technical College fields sports teams in men's baseball, and women's fast pitch softball. They are members of the Junior College Athletic Association, and are nicknamed the Stingers.
