Florida Community College at Jacksonville or FCCJ, established in 1966, has 5 campuses located in Jacksonville region. It is the 4th leading community college in U.S, and has more than 60,000 students enrolled presently. The university has North Campus, Kent Campus, South Campus and Downtown Campus that offer doctorate degree, master's degree and bachelor's degree in various areas.
The sports teams at Florida Community College at Jacksonville participate in baseball, basketball, softball, tennis and volleyball. Former basketball player Alvin Heggs; present head baseball of the Florida Gators, Kevin O'Sullivan; and Famous Astronomer, Michael D. Reynolds graduated from this university.
