James A. Rhodes State College is a two-year, public, state college located in Ohio, United States. The college was named in honor of Jim Rhodes, an American Republican politician from Ohio. The institute was officially chartered in 1971 as Lima Technical College. The college offers a wide variety of associate degrees in diverse areas of study. It also offers distance learning programs.
James A. Rhodes State College's athletics department sponsors several men's and women's sports teams. The teams participate in a wide variety of sports including basketball, baseball, golf, and volleyball. The campus is home to several clubs and organizations based on the varied interests of the students.
