Manatee Technical Institute, commonly referred to as MTI, was established in 1962. The main campus is located in West Bradenton, Florida, and is spread across an area of 30 acres. The East Campus of Manatee Technical Institute was opened in 2001, and houses the Richard T. Conrad M.D. Medical and Dental Building. Manatee Technical Institute offers courses in the fields of information technology, and public service. Students can also opt for online courses. The MTI East Campus offers special programs in the health occupations.

The students of Manatee Technical Institute are involved in the National Technical Honor Society which promotes educational excellence and leadership. The institute offers financial assistance to the students in the form of loans and grants. Besides, the students can also earn local and state scholarships in accordance with their merit.
