Pasadena City College, also known as PCC, was established in 1924. It is a public community college in Pasadena, California. There are over 20,000 students enrolled in the programs offered by the college. Pasadena City College offers a number of transfer & degree programs, career and technical education, and distance programs.

Pasadena City College sponsors intercollegiate sports teams that go by the name of the Lancers. There are teams for basketball, cross-country, football, soccer, water polo, volleyball, badminton, track, softball and swimming. The official team colors are cardinal red and gold.
