Pennsylvania Highlands Community College

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College was initially established as the Cambria County Area Community College in 1993. It was given its present name in the year 2004. The institute operates as both a community college and a vocational school. Classes are offered at the Ebensburg Education Center in Ebensburg, and the Richland Campus in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Students at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College are offered more than 30 associate's degrees, certificates and diploma programs. Courses are available in the fields of business, liberal arts, human services and education, science, and technology.

Pennsylvania Highlands Community College supports a number of clubs and organizations. The students are members of Greek societies including the Phi Theta Kappa, and the Tau Upsilon Alpha. Among the other associations are the Early Childhood Education Club, Environmental Society, Student Government Association, and Psychology Club.
