Pennsylvania State University - Penn State York is located in York, Pennsylvania, United States. Penn State York is a commonwealth campus of the Pennsylvania State University. The York Campus was set up in 1939, and in 1956 it moved to its present location. The campus of Penn State York spreads over an area of 51 acres. Students at Penn State York are offered associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in various subjects. Certificate courses and continuing education courses are also available.
Penn State York has several varsity athletics teams. The teams participate in basketball, baseball, soccer, tennis, and volleyball. The university is a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference. The mascot of the college is a Nittany Lion. Students in need of financial aid can apply for scholarships at Penn State York. Some of the scholarships given are the University College Dean, The Reinhardt Foundation, and the CES Presidential Scholarships.
