Rush University, founded in 1972, is a co-educational, private university located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It is known for the wide range of medical courses that it offers. The university campus stretches across an area of 8 acres.

Rush University offers study through the following academic divisions:

  • Medical College

The university campus is home to a number of student organizations, including Anesthesiology Interest Group, CHS - Student Government Association, Family Medicine Interest Group, Integrative Complementary and Alternative Medicine (ICAM) Student Interest Group, Medical Students for Choice, National Network of Latin American Medical Students (NNLAMS), National Student Speech-Language & Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) of (AAMC). The university has an alumni association with a large number of members as well.
