Saint Joseph's College-Standish was established in the year 1912. It is located in Standish, Maine, United States, and was founded by the Portland Regional Community of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas. The college offers students several degrees and certificate programs in the fields of business administration, finance, sports management, and communications among others. It also offers distance education programs to outstation students.

Saint Joseph's College-Standish fields both men's and women's sports teams. The teams are known as the Monks. The men's teams participate in sports such as basketball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, golf, and cross country. The women's teams compete in softball, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, and cross country. The college's students publish a literary magazine and a newspaper called the "Fortitudo et Specs."
