School Of The Art Institute Of Chicago

School of the Art Institute of Chicago, also referred to as SAIC, is situated in Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was established in the year 1866 and is among America's premiere fine arts colleges. Students are offered degrees and certificates in a wide range of subjects related to the arts including architecture, art therapy, fashion design, painting and drawing, visual and critical studies, and historic preservation.

The various student groups supported by SAIC include the Belly Dancing Group, Performance Art Society, Students Against War and Injustice, At Home World Wide Fashion Society, Incarnation, and Student Government. The students operate an on-campus internet radio station called Free Radio SAIC and a TV station called ExTV.
