SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica Rome, also known as State University of New York Institute of Technology or SUNYIT, is located in Utica Rome, New York, United States. It was established in the year 1966. Students are offered degrees in many areas of study including accounting, electrical engineering, health services management, advanced technology, and telecommunications. The institute has four academic schools, which are:

  • School of Arts and Sciences
  • School of Business
  • School of Information Systems and Engineering Technology
  • School of Nursing and Health Systems

SUNYIT's athletic teams are nicknamed the Wildcats. The men's teams participate in a wide variety of sports such as baseball, basketball, golf, cross country, soccer and volleyball. The women's teams also participate in various sports including bowling, basketball, soccer, softball, cross country, and volleyball.
