United Tribes Technical College

United Tribes Technical College, UTTC, was established in 1969. Founded by the United Tribes of North Dakota Development Corporation, this institution offers enrollment to students from over 75 federally recognized Native Indian tribes in the United States. The campus of UTTC is situated in Bismarck, North Dakota.

United Tribes Technical College offers more than 20 Associate of Applied Science degrees, and several certificate programs of study. Courses are provided in art, business, art marketing, technology, science, teacher education, healthcare, and criminal justice. UTTC also offers a number of online programs.

The athletics department of United Tribes Technical College fields teams in basketball, cross country, and golf. The teams are known as the Thunderbirds, and they compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association. Students of UTTC are also involved in campus organizations like the Student Senate, Student Activities Committee, and Communication Committee.
