The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, also known as UAPB, is a public university in Arkansas, United States. It was established in the year 1873. UAPB is the second oldest public institution in Arkansas. It offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees in diverse areas of study. The University offers its students several athletic programs and teams. The sports teams are nicknamed the Golden Lions. The college is a member of the NCAA Division I and participates in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
