University Of Nebraska Medical Center

University of Nebraska Medical Center, also referred to as UNMC, is located in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was founded in 1880 as a private medical college. UNMC is among the largest medical centers in Iowa and Nebraska. The university has other campuses located in Lincoln, Kearney, and Scottsbluff. The university comprises of the following five degree-granting academic colleges and one school:

  • College of Dentistry
  • College of Medicine
  • College of Nursing
  • College of Pharmacy
  • College of Public Health
  • School of Allied Health Professions

UNMC is home to a number of student clubs and organizations. Some of them are Alpha Omega Alpha, Organization of Student Representatives, Rho Chi Honor Society, Student Senate, American Medical Student Association, and Academy of Students of Pharmacy.
