University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, also known as Pitt-Johnstown or UPJ, is located in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, United States. It was established in the year 1927. The campus is large and spreads over an area of about 650 acres. UPJ offers students more than 40 associate degrees and baccalaureate programs in biology, business, fine arts, health related professions, and educational psychology. The academic departments are:
The male students of UPJ participate in sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, and wrestling. The women compete in volleyball, cross country, basketball, golf, soccer, and track. There are many clubs and organizations available on campus including the College Republicans, Delta Chi, Astronomy Club, Alpha Gamma Delta, and Pi Lambda Theta.
