The University of South Alabama, commonly referred to as USA, is a public, doctoral-level university located in Mobile, Alabama, United States. It was founded by the Alabama Legislature in 1963. The university enrolls more than 10,000 students. USA offers a wide variety of degrees and programs in diverse areas of study. It is organized into the following academic divisions:
