Wentworth Institute of Technology was established in the year 1904, and is located in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. The institute is a member unit of the Colleges of the Fenway Consortium. The institution's campus is spread over an area of more than 30 acres. Wentworth Institute of Technology offers students degree programs in various fields of study including computer science, architecture, and engineering.
The athletic teams of the college are known as the Leopards. The men's teams participate in sports such as baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, and hockey. The women's teams are involved in basketball, soccer, softball, volleyball, and tennis. Wentworth Institute of Technology's students publish an on-campus newspaper called the "Leopard Print." Notable alumni of the institute include David Lovering, musician; Matt LeBlanc, international film and television star; and John A. Volpe, politician.
