Student Life

The Phoenix campus of Western International University does not provide housing for traditional, on-campus students. Most students at West are enrolled in the online programs. New courses begin each month and last eight weeks. Each course is structured using the "Learn, Practice, Apply" method. Learning occurs through online videos, knowledge checks, and electronic texts. Students then practice what they learn through interactive exercises. Finally, students apply what they learned through weekly online assignments and quizzes. Courses and assignments are structured to meet the needs of adult learners, helping them balance the demands of both their life and education. Career coaching, internship opportunities, and an online alumni forum are available.
