William Jessup University

William Jessup University, WJU, is located in Rocklin, California. It was founded in San Jose in 1939, and was originally named San Jose Bible College. The first classes were held on September 20, 1939. On July 1, 1989, the name was changed to San Jose Christian College, and it adopted its present name in 2003. In 2004, WJU moved to its current location, where it is situated on around 125 acres.

William Jessup University offers associate's and bachelor's degrees in bible and theology, psychology, Christian education, business administration, and intercultural studies. The School of Professional Studies at WJU offers a Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Credential Program.

The sports teams of William Jessup University compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Known as the Warriors, they participate in basketball, soccer, cross country, golf, volleyball, and softball athletics events.
